Seagulls 36x36 Acrylic, Paper & Graphite on Canvas (Painted Gallery Wrap)
I remember once catching a seagull with my fishing rod because there were so many in the air when I cast the line wrapped right around it's neck. I had to reel in a flying, freaked out seagull to the boat where we untangled it and set it free. Gulls are in flight celebrators of good weather and predictors of storms when they're huddled together on the ground on coast lines and in grocery store parking lots. Their flight and cry are the sights and sounds of the water that can bring me right back to my wondrous childhood in the swamp.
