24"x24" Acrylic & Paper on Panel
When I was a kid, especially when I had a fever, I would dream of confusion. Like I was aware of what chaos looks like or how it would feel to be falling from a building. And then, something simple would appear. Like a perfect daisy or a coin. I would get comfort from focusing on the simple thing but the chaos loomed. The contrast would makes my stomach lurch and I would wake up with a jolt. I untangle the twine. I rearrange the confusion until it make sense. Holding things in place is the unattainable challenge.
